The CIS Local Area Network spans 6 buildings with more than 160 PCs on site. In addition, the department has printers, scanners, multi media projectors and PC cameras. We provide courses in IT from Year 7 to Year 13. It is a practical course that provides students with an excellent foundation for further study in the field of Information Systems. The subject deals with :
- Computer Hardware
- Setting up of the system
- System software and application software to cover; word processing, desk top publishing, spread sheets, databases, electronic communication, web page design data logging and data control
- Networks and Topology and internet
- Systems Analysis
