Introduction
The Kandy Branch of the Colombo International School was opened in August 1998 to provide high quality English medium education for students aged 3 - 19 years. Since then, the School has developed into a thriving educational institution with an enrolment of around 600 students.
In curriculum, organization, uniform, extra-curricular activities and ethos the School is similar to its parent branch in Colombo. The School aims to deliver a world-class education that respects diversity while maintaining the tradition and culture of Sri Lanka. There is a high expectation of success in the School and students know that if they work hard they will do well. We wish to teach our students the importance of co-operation, tolerance and respect in a supportive student community.
